Opening of bankruptcy proceedings for SkyWork Airlines AG

The SkyWork Airlines AG based in Berne (hereinafter: SkyWork) ceased its flight operations on 29 August 2018. Due to over-indebtedness, the company had to notify the responsible bankruptcy judge on the basis of Art. 725 OR and, as a consequence, voluntarily returned its operating permit to the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA). The Regional Court Bern-Mittelland opened bankruptcy proceedings against SkyWork with effect from 6 September 2018, 3:00 p.m.

The bankruptcy proceedings are conducted by the Bankruptcy Office Bern-Mittelland. The Bankruptcy Office intends to keep the media regularly informed. It asks the media for their understanding that media enquiries will not be answered individually in the first weeks of the proceedings due to the high workload.

This website contains current media releases from the Bankruptcy Office as well as specific information for those affected by the bankruptcy (employees, contracting parties, passengers and creditors).
